Dr. Matthew Walters is a Chiropractor who studied at and qualified from the University of Johannesburg in 2008, he has a passion for learning about Chiropractic and has further training in Chiropractic Torque Release Technique and Neurological Chiropractic Techniques and regularly attends seminars and educational events. He is photo registered with the Chiropractic Association of South Africa and with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.

Dr. Walters has experience from working in private practice and as a locum, has field side experience from working in the Student Chiropractic Sports Counsel, as a student and has supervised students completing this training as well. He has worked for The Sunshine Tour (Professional Golf Tour) and has also had experience practicing Chiropractic in a corporate environment and given chiropractic and wellness talks and lectures to various groups including CPD accredited lectures to health care providers.

Interests in Neurology, Functionality and Performance resulted in Dr. Walters completing a research dissertation on the effects of Chiropractic care on reflex reaction times. This research proved that Chiropractic Adjustments can improve concentration and response times while performing tasks.

Dr. Walters practices on patients and does pro bono care at the Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the Physically Disabled and finds this not only extremely rewarding but also beneficial in improving his Chiropractic education and Chiropractic technique.

Dr. Walters remains active in sport: Currently plays golf off of a +1 handicap and participates in Roodepoort Country Club's scratch league team. He plays tennis at the Mark's Park Tennis Club, has participated in the Bundes League for a number of years and meddled at the 2008 South African Student University games for the University of Johannesburg. Dr. Walters also does Karate at the Horizon Karate Centre and is an avid runner.

Interests in anatomical form and patient education have also lead to Dr. Walters completing various anatomical diagrams and sketches that may be used for this purpose.

Dr. Walters practices at the Flora Clinic in the Mayo Clinic consulting rooms, at the Senshi Wellbeing Wellness Centre in the Eagle Canyon Golf Estate and at the Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the Physically Disabled.
